Those who have heard the cry of the people for God to speak to them in their struggles and sufferint have begun to develop a new way of reading the Bible. We call this contextual Bible study because we are trying to understand what the Bible is saying to our South African context today.
The central concer of this book is contextual Bible study and so the book sets out to explore how we can read the Bible from and for our South African context.
